PEANUT BUTTER RICE KRISPIE BARS 
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
2/3 c. peanut butter
3 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 to 3/4 c. chocolate chips, melted

In saucepan, mix sugar and Karo syrup. Bring to boil over low heat to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat. Add 2/3 cup peanut butter. Stir to mix. Add Rice Krispies and mix well. Spread in buttered 9 to 10-inch square pan and press down. Melt chocolate chips over low heat and spread on bars. (Can use butterscotch chips too, if desired.) Cool. Cut into bars.
