GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
9 sm. salad potatoes, sliced, cooked
Salt & pepper
Diced celery, green pepper (optional), diced onion
3 to 4 strips bacon, diced & fried
1/2 c. vinegar
2/3 to 1 c. water
1/3 c. sugar

Boil vinegar, water and sugar together. Be sure to taste and add sugar if necessary, I usually do. Thicken with flour and water; mix and pour hot over potatoes. Mix and serve.
