GRANOLA BARS 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. butter plus 1 tbsp.
1/3 c. peanut butter plus 1 tbsp.
1/2 c. light corn syrup or honey
1 egg
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 1/2 c. quick oats

In a large mixer bowl, beat sugar, butter, peanut butter and syrup until creamy. Add egg; beat until light and fluffy. Stir in remaining ingredients. Press into a greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Let set until completely cool. Cut into squares, and store into a lightly covered container. Makes 2 dozen.
