BOUNTIFUL BUTTERSCOTCH CAKE 
12 oz. pkg. (2 c.) Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels
1/4 c. water
3 c. all - purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. golden raisins
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. finely chopped candied cherries
1/2 c. chopped toasted almonds
Confectioner's sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine over hot (not boiling) water, Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels and water. Stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Set aside. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and raisins; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with milk. Stir in butterscotch mixture, cherries and almonds. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch fluted tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool completely on wire rack; remove from pan. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
