APPLE PIE BAR 
DOUGH:

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 egg plus enough milk to make 2/3 c. liquid

Blend together dough and divide into half. Roll half and put into jelly roll pan.

FILLING:

Crumble 3 handfuls of corn flakes over dough. Slice 10 large peeled apples and add 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon with a little nutmeg. Spread over dough and top with remaining dough. Slash top. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
