FRENCH ONION SOUP 
1 lg. Spanish onion
2 cans beef bouillon soup
1 can water
1/4 c. butter
White wine to taste
French bread
Swiss cheese

Saute onions in butter (use your judgment on amount of onion). Add soup, water and wine. Boil 2 minutes. Simmer one hour. Pour into individual cups. Top with slice of bread and Swiss cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Broil until cheese melts. Serves 3 to 4.
