PEAR HARLEQUIN 
3 c. peeled, chopped pears
1 lg. orange, seeded and ground
3/4 c. crushed pineapple
1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1 pkg. powdered pectin
5 c. sugar

Combine pears, pineapple, cherries, and lemon juice in large kettle. Bring to a boil; add pectin. Bring to a boil and add sugar. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, skim and stir for 5 minutes. Pack in jars and seal. Yield: 5 cups.
