MANDEL BREAD | |
Kosher for Passover but delicious with any meal, all year round. 1/2 c. regular oil 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 1/4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 12 oz. mini chocolate chips 1 tsp. cinnamon A pinch of salt and a handful (or more) or chopped walnuts Blend oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Sift in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Mix well. Divide the dough into 3 loaves. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown. Cool and cut into thick slices. Makes approximately 24 slices. |
