1 c. water
1 tbsp. oil
Food color
Flavor for fragrance (optional)
1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
1 tbsp. alum

Bring water and oil to a boil (microwave is fine). Add food coloring and flavoring. Add salt, alum and flour and stir in completely. Knead until smooth. Have fun!! Less messy than purchased playdough.
