BLACK WALNUT BREAD 
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together into a mixing bowl; then stir in the nuts. Beat eggs, milk and melted butter. Add to flour mixture and stir until thoroughly blended. Don't attempt to beat out all lumps. Spoon into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn out of pan and cool before serving.
