BORSCHT 
1 pt. cooked diced beets
1 heaping tsp. flour
1/3 c. cream
1 qt. water
1/4 c. vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Add enough of the 1 quart water to the flour to make a thin smooth paste. Heat together the remaining water, cream and vinegar. Add flour paste and seasonings. Cook until medium thick. Add cooked beets. Cook for a few minutes longer and serve.
