SWEET CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks), softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. cake flour, shaken from box and unsifted
1/2 pt. unwhipped whipped cream
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add salt. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each one. Add flour and whipping cream in thirds and cream well after each addition. Add flavoring. Set oven at 325 degrees. Do not preheat. Bake for about 1 1/2 hours.
