These may be cooked two different ways. The oven method will result in a little greasier dish, depending on the meatballs themselves. Meatballs should be heated in the oven first on a baking sheet if you are going to use a crock pot. If you are going to use the oven method, just put meatballs right from the freezer into a casserole dish. Approximately 1 1/2 pounds meat balls to 1 (16 oz.) can cranberry sauce.
You may substitute any flavor jelly for the cranberry sauce. The cranberry sauce does better in the oven and the jellies in the crock pot. If you are using the oven method, the temperature should be 350 degrees for 1 hour, if the meatballs are frozen. When using a crock pot, allow 1/2 hour for the flavors to blend.
