LEMON PEPPER 
4 tsp. black pepper, coarsely ground
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. sour salt (citric acid, granulated)
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. lemon peel, dried chopped into fairly sm. bits
1 tsp. celery seed

With a sharp paring knife, or potato peeler, remove the "zest" from a lemon. The zest is the yellow part of the skin; don't peel the white layer under the zest. Dry the peel in your oven until brittle; chop into bits but don't powder it. You may also buy lemon peel in most stores. Mix all the ingredients together; store in a dry, dark place.
