GLAZED ORANGE CAKE 
Chopped rind of 1 orange
1 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk

Chop orange rind very fine and add raisins. Set aside. Blend the butter and sugar and then add the eggs, vanilla, and the orange rind/raisin mixture. Sift the flour with the baking soda and salt. Add this to the creamed mixture ALTERNATELY with the buttermilk.

Turn into well-greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan or two well-greased loaf pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
