GLAZED ORANGE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs
3/4 c. milk
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. grated orange rind
Dash of salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and orange rind. Add eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt three times. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Beat well. Bake in tube pan at 350 degrees for one hour.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. orange juice

Heat above until sugar is dissolved. Pour over hot cake while still in tube pan. Cool cake in pan.
