CHALUPAS 
2 lb. pork roast
1 lb. pinto beans
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 c. green chilies (1 sm. can, chopped)
1 tbsp. salt

Wash and pick over beans. put all ingredients in heavy kettle. Cover with water and cook covered over low heat. After 6 hours remove meat from bones. Cook with lid off until thick 1-2 hours.

Add more water, if needed.
