HOT MILK CINNAMON CAKE 
1 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. butter

Heat milk and 1/4 pound butter in saucepan until butter melts (do not boil). In large mixer bowl, beat eggs, sugar (1 1/2 cups), salt and vanilla until light and fluffy. Mix flour and baking powder. Add flour and hot milk alternately to egg mixture. Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Mix sugar (1 c.) and cinnamon for topping and sprinkle over batter. Dot with small pieces of butter (4 tablespoons) gently pressing butter into batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 22 to 25 minutes or until pick inserted in cake comes out clean. Serve from pan.
