HOT POTATO SALAD 
8 baking potatoes
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. bacon bits
Salt
Pepper
Chives (optional)

Wash potatoes; pierce with fork and bake in microwave until done. While hot, chop (with skins still on) and place in a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
