1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
1 onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. ketchup
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Mix together beef, crumbs, onion, beaten egg, salt, pepper and 4 ounce ketchup. Form into loaf and put into shallow pan (7 x 10 inches).

Combine the rest of the ketchup, water, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Baste occasionally.
