CHOCOLATE HALF-MOON COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Mix all ingredients together in the order given. Beat until smooth. Drop by rounded tablespoonful on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 400°F for about 7 minutes. Cool; frost half of flat side with white icing, half with chocolate icing.

Icing:

2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa

For White Icing: Combine butter, vanilla, powdered sugar. For Chocolate Icing: Use the same ingredients but add cocoa. Add a little water if icing is too thick.
