1 c. sugar
1 c. applesauce
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. flour
3/4 c. chopped nuts

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all ingredients; add nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Sprinkle topping mixture over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes, or until center tests done.
