CHOCOLATE CARAMEL BROWNIES | |
1 (14 oz.) pkg. light caramels 1/3 c. evaporated milk 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 1/3 c. evaporated milk 3/4 c. melted butter 6 oz. chocolate chips Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat. Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and melted butter together. Grease and flour 9x13 or 8x12 inch pan and spread 1/2 cake mixture in pan. Bake for 6-7 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle 6 ounces chocolate chips over baked cake mixture. Spread or pour melted caramel over chips. Spread or drop by large spoonfuls the rest of the cake mixture over caramel layer. Bake for 15-18 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool, then refrigerate to set caramel. |
