PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. 1/4 inch sirloin tips, cut in serving strips
2 tbsp. fat
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic or 1 tsp. prepared chopped garlic
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 beef bouillon cube
1 c. water
1 (1 lb.) can (2 c.) tomatoes
1 lg. green pepper, cut in strips
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. red wine

Brown meat in hot fat. Add onion and garlic, salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water; add to meat. Cover; simmer until tender 25-30 minutes. Add tomatoes and green pepper. Cook 15 minutes longer.

Combine cornstarch, water and soy sauce and wine, stir into meat mixture. Cover and cook 5-10 minutes longer. Serve with hot noodles. Makes 4-6 servings.
