JAM CAKE 
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. coconut
3 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. sugar
1 c. strawberry jam
1 c. butter

Beat eggs and baking powder. Dissolve soda in milk and mix. Add sugar, butter, nuts, raisins, coconut and jam. Beat well. Add flour with dash of salt. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes in 3 round pans. Bake slowly; cool.

FROSTING:

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Pet milk
1 1/2 c. coconut
2 tsp. butter

Bring sugar and Pet milk to boil. Add coconut. Add 2 teaspoons butter when cooling. Whip, spread over cake.
