OREO COOKIE DESSERT 
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 bar German sweet chocolate
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
34 Oreo cookies
1/3 c. melted butter
1/2 gal. ice cream (vanilla or butter pecan)
1 lg. Cool Whip
Nuts if desired

Melt first four ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 15 minutes, stirring constantly; cool.

Crush Oreo cookies and mix with 1/3 cup melted butter. Press this into a 9x13 inch pan and freeze. Spread 1/2 gallon ice cream on top of crust. Freeze this. When it is frozen and mixture is cooled, pour over ice cream. Top with Cool whip and sprinkle with nuts. Keep frozen.
