SWISS STEAK
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes with juice
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
1 med. onion, sliced
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 1/4 tsp. salt

Cut steak into serving pieces; pound with meat mallet to help tenderize. Coat pieces with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Heat oil in freezer-to-range glass ceramic skillet over medium-high heat. Add meat and onion and brown on both sides. Add tomatoes and any remaining flour mixture. Microwave, covered, 5 minutes or until mixture boils. Let stand 15 minutes. Repeat this step 3 to 4 times or until meat is desired tenderness. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
