HAM-BROCCOLI-CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed
3/4 lb. American cheese, sliced (or 18 slices)
1 pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and drained
2 c. diced cooked ham
6 eggs, slightly beaten
3 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce

TOPPING:

1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Cut 12 doughnuts and holes from bread and set aside. Fix the scraps of bread in bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Add broccoli and ham. Put remaining bread cut outs on top. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over all.

Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight. Bake uncovered in 325 degree oven for 55 minutes. Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese and bake 5 minutes more. Serves 12.
