1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
1 c. milk with 2 tsp. baking soda mixed into milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
Raisins and nuts to taste

Mix sugar and beaten eggs together and slowly add flour. Blend in milk. This will make a stiff batter. Add lemon extract, nuts and raisins. Bake in a tube pan at 350 degrees for one hour.
