FLUFFY PECAN TORTE 
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. Corn Flake crumbs

Butter generously an 8 or 9 inch pie plate. Beat egg whites, sugar, baking powder and salt until stiff. Stir in vanilla, nuts, and crumbs. Spread evenly onto buttered pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
