HALUPKIS 
1 head cabbage
2 lbs. ground beef
2 onions, diced
1 c. uncooked rice
1 sm. can tomato soup
1 can water
1 lb. can whole tomatoes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Steam cabbage in large pot for 5-10 minutes. Brown beef and onions in frying pan. Stir in rice. Drain cabbage. Remove one whole leaf of cabbage. Place meat mixture at one edge of leaf. Fold leaf on side of meat mixture over meat. Roll meat up in leaf. Place cabbage and meat roll, edge down, in bottom of large baking bowl or casserole.

Continue until all cabbage or meat is used up, stacking rolls on top of one another. Cover with tomato soup, water and tomatoes. Bake for 1 hour or until rice is done.
