3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 tsp. vinegar 1 c. shortening 1/3 c. water Sift flour and salt. Cut in the shortening until it looks like meal. Combine beaten egg, vinegar, and water. Add flour mixture and lightly toss with fork. Chill dough before rolling out. Roll dough. Place in pans and bake at 450 degrees until browned. Dough can be refrigerated or frozen for a few weeks. |
