2 sticks butter
1 2/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beaten well after each. Add flour and vanilla, beating well after each addition. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Place in cold oven. Set oven at 350 degrees and bake for one hour. Number of servings: 18.
