MOCK PECAN PIE BARS 
1 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla. Gradually add flour; mix well. Press into ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 jelly roll pan. Bake in 350 degree oven about 12 minutes.

FILLING:

2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
3/4 c. corn syrup
3/4 c. uncooked oats (quick or old fashioned)
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until thick and lemon- colored. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over partially baked crust. Continue baking about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool thoroughly; cut into bars.
