CHEESE YEAST BREAD 
1 c. scalded milk
3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 cake or pkg. yeast (active dry yeast)
3 c. all-purpose flour

Combine scalded milk, cheese, butter, sugar and salt. Stir until cheese is melted. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast. Let stand 3 minutes. Gradually add the flour, beating well after each addition to form dough. Knead 7-10 minutes.

Place in greased bowl and cover. Let rise in warm place (85-90 degrees) until light and double in size, about 1-1 1/2 hours. Shape into loaf. Place in well greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise 60 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
