3/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
8 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. mace
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Cream together butter, sugar and eggs until light and creamy. Add vanilla and almond extract. Stir in all dry ingredients, mix well. Pour into well greased 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees 2 hours.
