DELUXE POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. pure butter 4 c. flour (plain) 1 tsp. almond flavor 1 tsp. lemon flavor 1 c. milk 6 eggs 3 c. sugar Cream butter and sugar together; then add eggs, one at a time beating after each addition about 1 minute. Add milk and flour alternately until all is mixed. Bake for 2 1/2 hours at 300 degrees or until done. (See Glaze Section for Topping.) |
