ELEGANT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 orange
2 tbsp. Galliano
4 c. fresh fruit (sliced peaches, nectarines, pears or any fresh berries)

Mix brown sugar, water, orange and lemon juices, bring to a boil on high, then simmer on low for five minutes. Cool slightly. Add Galliano, pour syrup over fresh fruit. Chill in refrigerator. 6 servings.
