LUSCIOUS FRUIT COMPOTE 
1/2 box dried prunes
1/2 box dried apricots
16 oz. can pear halves
16 oz. can peach halves
16 oz. can bing cherries
16 oz. can pineapple chunks
1/2 c. raisins
11 oz. can mandarin oranges
Zest and sections of 1 lemon
Zest and sections of 1 orange
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. macaroon crumbs
1/3 c. brandy

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain the canned fruits and combine all fruits in a large greased casserole. Mix the brown sugar and macaroon crumbs. Sprinkle over fruits. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and sprinkle brandy over the top of the casserole. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes. May be served warm or cold. Serves 16 to 20 minutes.
