SOFT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 (4 oz.) pkg. jello brand vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Mix in a large mixing bowl, beat until smooth and well blended. Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.

Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes.

Makes about 7 dozen. You can use peanut butterscotch chips instead of chocolate chips.
