CHEESE SQUARE PUFFS | |
Loaf of unsliced bread 1/2 c. butter 2 egg whites, beaten 1/4 lb. cheddar cheese, grated 3 oz. cream cheese Trim crust from bread. Slice or cut bread into 1" squares. Melt butter and cheeses on top of double boiler. When smooth and blended, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Line a tray with wax paper. Dip bread squares in cheese mixture, place on tray and freeze. Store in freezer bags until needed. Bake on greased sheet at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown. |
