HOT SPICED PINEAPPLE JUICE 
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
1 c. apple juice or cider
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. cinnamon pieces
1/2 tbsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. light rum or 2 tsp. rum extract
cinnamon stick stirrers
whole cloves
lemon slices

Combine juices, sugar and spices in a large pot. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour in rum or extract. Insert cloves into lemon slices. Fill cups with the liquid (through a strainer to remove cinnamon pieces) and float a lemon slice on each one for garnish.

Makes nine 6-ounce servings.

Cinnamon stick stirrers may be added to each cup.
