CORNBREAD 
3 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk or sweet milk

Generously grease heavy pan or cast iron skillet. Stir eggs with baking powder. Add buttermilk, sugar, salt, corn meal, and flour. Blend into a pancake consistency. Pour into WELL greased baking pan or muffin pan. Bake for 20 minutes in 425 degree oven. (Makes 12 muffins.)
