ROSEMARY BARBECUED CHICKEN
2 broiler/fryer chickens, cut in half
1/2 c. olive oil
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. white wine or 1/2 c. water and 2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. crushed rosemary
1 clove garlic, minced

Brush chicken halves inside and out with a bubbling hot mixture of oil, melted butter, wine, salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic. Place chicken halves, cavity side down, on grill about 4 inches from hot coals. Baste frequently and turn chicken every 10 minutes. Total cooking time is 45-60 minutes.

NOTE: Chicken can be partially cooked in microwave to reduce time on grill.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
