SWEET - AND - SOUR PORK 
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. oil
Salad oil
1/2 lb. pork tenderloin cut into 1/4" slices
1 med. green pepper (cut into 1" pieces)
1/2 c. water
1 sm. med. onion (cut into 1" pieces)
1 1/2 c. hot cooked rice

Pour oil into electric skillet or wok to depth of 1-1 1/2 inches. Heat to 375 degrees. In small bowl, beat flour, cornstarch, salt, baking powder, water and 1 teaspoon oil with rotary beater until smooth. Dip meat into batter with tongs, fry in hot oil, turning once until golden brown. 6-8 minutes. Drain and keep warm. Use Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe.
