2 lg. heads cabbage 2 lb. hamburger 1 c. rice Butter Salt 1 onion 1 can tomato soup Pork salt Parboil cabbage for 5 minutes (place core head down, cut core loosely). 2 cups cooked rice (1 cup rice and 2 cups water). Fry hamburger; drain fat. Fry cut up onion. Add rice, hamburger and pork salt chips, cooked. Cool cabbage and separate leaves without tearing. Cut off heavy round cabbage stock. Put rice hamburger mixture into cabbage leaf. Fold the hard part of the cabbage leaf first. Line pot with foil and leaves on sides of pan. Pour 4 tablespoons of water onto pot bottom. Place gelompki in the pan. Pour diluted tomato sauce over. Cover pan with extra leaves. Cover pan and bake at 300-320 degrees for 4 hours. |
