SWEDISH RYE BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 c. hot water
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. rye flour
2 tsp. salt
Enough white flour to knead

Let rise until double. Put in pans. Let rise again. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
