BAKED PERCH FILLETS | |
2 lbs. frozen perch or sole 1/2 c. salad oil 2 tbsp. capers & juice (found in most grocery stores) 2 tbsp. catsup 4 crushed bay leaves 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/3 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. chopped onion 2 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. salt Paprika 2 cloves garlic, chopped Thaw fillets. Cut into serving size portions. Place in shallow baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients, except paprika. Pour sauce over fish and let stand for 30 minutes. Pour off sauce (save for basting). Sprinkle fish with paprika and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes, basting occasionally with remaining sauce. Fish will flake easily with a fork when done. |
