LEMON DESSERT 
CRUST:

1/2 c. melted butter
40 Ritz crackers

MERINGUE:

4 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

2 cans lemon pie filling
Cool Whip or whipped cream

CRUST: Crush Ritz crackers and add butter. Mix well and press into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Let stand while making meringue.

MERINGUE: Make meringue and spread over crackers. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Let cool. Spread lemon pie filling over top and cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
