FLO BABY'S GLOP
This is a very quick, feel good meal that can feed 4 to 8 people depending on the amount of rice cooked. More rice with less Glop will feed more. Glop alone is a good low carb meal. Leftovers microwave real good and are very tasty!

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 oz.) can cream of celery soup
1 (10 oz.) can vegetables (green beans or corn)
2 cups uncooked rice (optional)

VARIATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS:

any ground meat (turkey, pork, sausage, etc.)
any cream of "X" soup
any vegetable
2 cans of vegetables will stretch the recipe easily
add a tbsp. A1 sauce
add a tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
add a tbsp. Lite soy sauce
brown rice does not have the same "mouth" texture

If rice will be served, start rice according to packaged instructions. The traditional rice is medium grain rice like Hinode or any other variety of medium grain rice. The rice will take longer than the Glop to prepare.

Brown chopped onion in 8-quart pot with oil over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and mix with onion.

If ground beef is frozen, microwave on high for 8 minutes. This can be done at the same time as browning the onion and garlic.

Add ground beef to onion and garlic. If ground beef was microwaved, chop up into small pieces in the pot.

After ground beef has cooked, add cans of soup and drained vegetable. (An 8 oz. pack of frozen vegetable can be substituted for canned vegetable).

Fold ingredients well and cover.

Simmer for 10 minutes.

Serve over bed of rice, or in a bowl if it's just Glop.

Season with salt if you need it.

Enjoy!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
